This initiative was created out of a sense of social responsibility for the fate of animals. We want to carry out our activities in many areas where we see the possibility of a real impact on improving the quality of life of dogs and increasing the comfort of people who work with animals every day.
We want to support dogs in shelters, life-saving animals and organisations that train dog guides. We focus on education and raising awareness of the important role animals play in society.
The #macednaratunek team has already visited dozens of placeswhere support is most needed. Many organizations are still on our list. We try to support our charges by donating a supply of our treats. We act as volunteers when necessary.

the group was established in 1995 after construction disasters in Łódź and a gas explosion in one of the Gdańsk skyscrapers. Rescue dogs became the basis of the unit’s operation. The task of the Group is mainly rescuing victims during construction disasters and natural disasters. Additionally, rescue dogs support the police in searching for missing persons in open areas. The group consists of dog handlers, water rescuers, altitude rescuers, and helicopter rescuers.
